Don’t you just love good news? I know I do! Praise God that He has placed His angels in our lives to proclaim the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Here is some good news for you, God doesn’t want you living in fear, and if you come to Him in faith, He will cast every ounce of it out of your life so that you can live fearlessly trusting in His goodness! He will bring all that is good into your life!
“Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” James 1:17 TPT
It is important to get our beliefs right about God. He is our Living Hope who comes to restore life, to deliver, to heal and to give you blessings for all of eternity. He longs for a relationship with you so that in any given situation He will give you the peace that passes all understanding! This means that if you are having difficulty in a relationship, He will give you wisdom and direction along with His perfect peace. If you have lost all your finances and you are feeling desperate, He will give you the peace to know that you will be provided for and restored in every way. This is true about our health and each area of our life.
“Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why—he’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends.” Psalm 107:1 TPT
I come to you having experienced this perfect peace, the one that the world does not understand. On May 11, 2022, our home was completed destroyed by fire. We left with very little but our lives, yet we had the most incredible peace. We had and still have, a trust and a knowing that God will restore us.
“We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us.” 1 John 4:16 TPT
You see both my husband and I have gained very large “faith staffs.” A faith staff was used in the old days to mark when God had delivered them, when He came through and answered prayers. Moses placed his “faith staff” in the water to part the Red Sea. When we place our “faith staff” down, we are basically saying, “You have delivered me before Lord, and I know you will deliver me again.”
If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your savior, you too can trust Him and believe that He will deliver you, because He will.
“He is a good God who desires good things to come into your life. Anything that is not good, sickness, financial loss, estrangement, divorce, death, is NOT from Him. It is important to get this belief right so that when a trial comes your way, you will understand that it comes from the enemy, not from God. Always remember it is the enemy who desires to steal, kill, and destroy. Not God!” (John 10:10)
God is a good, good Father. As earthly mothers and fathers we would never bring bad things into our children’s lives to “test them” or “refine their faith.” How can we pray against these things if we think they are from God? We can’t. Begin today by drawing a line, what is bad is from the enemy, what is good is from God. In doing so you will walk in clarity, in power and faith knowing that your Living Hope is always with you, always ready and willing to bring good news into your life! That with Him you have the promises of Eternal Life, restoration of all things, forgiveness, goodness, and abundance!
“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” 1 John 5:4 ESV
Affirm these truths in your mind: I AM trusting in my good God. I AM healed and whole in Christ. I AM filled with God’s peace. I AM successful in all that I do.
Pray:
“Thank you, Lord, that you are good! That you love me so much that you died for me, even while I was sinning. Protect my mind so that I see clearly that you are good, and if there are any bad circumstances in my life or the lives of others, help me to know and understand that it is from the enemy and not from you. I choose to live a life of faith believing you are good!”
