Are a way to write Gods love in your mind and in your heart. These declarations affirm who you are in Christ. Forming this positive godly narration in your mind creates change! The more you meditate on the Word of God the more your heart and mind will change to who you are in Christ. You were made to become more like Christ each day. We often need painted word pictures to help our minds adapt to who we are to become.
Faith comes by hearing. Romans 10:17. Hearing who you are in Christ creates the godly transformation that you desire. Using your own will, you get to choose to meditate and become more like Christ.
Only the Holy Spirit heals and transforms your life by giving you a new heart. The new heart Jesus promised to give you comes through surrendering to Him. As you choose to meditate on God’s Words and who you are in Him, the Holy Spirit will do His work within you to create the godly transformation you desire.
In each of our meditations we only use the positive words that God would say. We do not use any negative words, or even words describing a situation you may be overcoming such as “you will no longer smoke.” Instead we say words like “you are breathing in fresh clean air creating a healthy body.” The reason for this is because the mind will attach itself to what you are speaking about.
Remember faith comes by hearing so we only speak the words that will draw you more faithfully to Christ. We also use analogies like Jesus did to help the mind relate to the desired outcome. The reason for this is because you already know what you want to overcome, when you are meditating it is important to only use the words that are of God. God called Peter a Rock when He was a coward, He called Gideon a mighty warrior when he was hiding in the wine press. God calls out our true identity and it creates within us the desire to become who He created us to be. We do the same here. In all of our meditations, either in person, over the phone or the recorded versions here, we only use the beautiful words that God would say. We focus on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy as Paul says to do in Philippians 4:8. Scriptures are provided for you to focus on, and these scriptures are used for inspiration for the provided godly meditation.
