It’s often easy to be thankful when good things are happening, right? And gratefulness makes it easier to share what God is doing with those we know and care about.

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
—Psalm 9:1

With the holidays approaching, you may have plans to see family or visit with friends. Perhaps you have plans to attend a special church service or volunteer. You may be there in person, or on a video chat, but either way, you may have a chance to visit with people you don’t normally see.

As these opportunities come, I encourage you to consider the wonderful deeds God has done for you. Think about something that is good news — no matter how small it may seem, or how big. Let yourself feel the thankfulness that comes with receiving that good news.

Then, consider sharing about God’s wonderful deeds with the people you interact with over the holidays. As you do this, doors can open for you to share even more about who God is and how much He loves us. That’s good news everyone should hear!

Perhaps you’re feeling like you don’t have much good news to share right now. And that’s okay. Sometimes, it can be helpful to work with a life coach and focus on your inner narration and your goals, so you can achieve success. If that’s you, YKI coaching is here for you. We’re based in Orange County, but we can help by phone, no matter where you are.
