Do you sometimes feel alone? Perhaps you have been betrayed or wounded by a friend, or sibling.
I am so sorry for you if this is your case, I can relate as this was the case for me. To be wounded, gossiped about, and betrayed is very hurtful and damaging to our sense of safety and belonging.
What I want you to know is that Jesus, your intercessor, is there to heal your heart and to be your friend.
“Therefore, He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25
Jesus isn’t a distant God that is somewhere up in heaven enjoying His time. He is your forever friend! He is constantly working on your behalf, He wants to be here on earth with you, loving you, healing you and enjoying life with you while you are here.
He is your forever friend.
“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Jesus is our Advocate and Great Defender! Can you imagine growing up in a home where your siblings defended you? Where they told your parents how great you are?
This is what Jesus does for us! We are without sin because of Him.
Unfortunately, our broken world causes us to relate to Jesus the way we would relate to a sibling or a friend who broke our trust.
Perhaps our siblings accused us of things like Satan did to Job. Job 1:6-12
Jesus’ death on the cross took away all accusations, and now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Jesus Christ! What great news!
Jesus our mediator goes to God and tells Him that we are purified, that we are holy and righteous!
When you begin to see Jesus as your forever friend and your great supporter, no longer will the wounds of siblings or friends affect you!
